One-to-one process

A Grinberg Method learning process aims to give you the opportunity to make the time to take care of yourself within a confidential and trusting environment, thereby allowing your body to recuperate and your mind to regain clarity.

The first one-to-one session consists of defining, through foot analysis, which strategy will be the best adapted to allow you to reach your personal objectives. Foot analysis allows a practitioner to identify your personal qualities, your imbalances and to learn the link between your physical state and the way in which you live (habits, environment, behavioural patterns, etc.) in order to give you a personalised, focused, effective and thorough service.

A learning process is made up of a series of one-hour sessions, during which the practitioner will teach you basic tools, using description and various touch-techniques, that will allow you to regain balance, strength and reach your personal goals.

According to your needs, your practitioner may also give you exercises to do in between your weekly sessions. These exercises will allow you to develop attention to the body and to further develop what you are learning in your process through description, movement and breathing.

A "recovery process" is based on another aspect of the methodology where it is adapted to working with acute physical traumas: fractures, shocks, operations and all other severe or painful conditions. A Grinberg Method practitioner cannot however work with people who are in any life-threatening condition as we do not replace any kind of medical or psychological care that a person might need.

A process always works towards real results such as a marked difference in a symptom or pain (tension, back pain, constipation, menstrual pain, migraines, hyperactivity, anxiety, insomnia, etc.), or some kind of behavioural pattern that bothers you.

Beyond the desired personal goals, the benefits of a process very often result in qualities being regained such as health, well-being, concentration, confidence, tranquillity, courage, stability, openness, flexibility, motivation, vitality, and enhanced pleasure in everyday life.
